Summer surprise

     Hello everyone!! Sorry for not posting these days, been a little busy - I started summer with a very lovely surprise from my boyfriend: a trip to Barcelona, one of Europe's most dynamic metropolises.
   We trade the chilly weather for warmer days (hotter - I can say) and time spent at the beach, too bad that the seawater was still cold. 
   In the posts that will follow the next days, you can have a look at how my vacation was.

A girl and a beret

      
   The outfit chosen for today's walk was too dull, so I spiced it up with a beret.
   In the background can be seen Marischal College, that since 2011 it is home of Aberdeen City Council. It is a large granite building, the construction of it began in 1835 and was finished in the early 1900s. 
   A very beautiful and impressive building. 

Meadow's tulle

    Love this contrast between tulle fabric and a countryside landscape, also playing with different styles and bringing them together. 
   And still missing summer!! 

   The photos were taken a few months ago in Romania, in Cheia village, Prahova county. I will reserve some posts just to tell more about its beauty.

Of course, I had company. My dog, Nero!

Last summer vibes

                     I miss the hot summer days so very much...

 Last year we went for a few days to Palma de Mallorca - an interesting city. It had very nice beaches and the sea water was fantastic.

   A very nice collar - check

   Then it's time to enjoy the scenery and the weather and take some photos. 


     

An afternoon at the castle

   I have a thing for castles, but who doesn't?
  Scotland is famous for its castles.
  Since when I moved in Aberdeen, I try to visit as many as possible.  
  Last weekend we went to visit Drum Castle, located at 10 miles W of Aberdeen.
  The castle was given to William de Irwyn in 1325 by Robert the Bruce and had remained belonging to Irvine family until 1975, when it was handed over to the National Trust of Scotland.
William de Irwyn was armour bearer/secretary of King Robert the Bruce. The castle played a role in the Convenanting Rebellion leading to its being attacked and sacked three times.

  It was late when we arrived at the castle - was closed. So we admired it only from outside. We also had a nice walk around the gardens.

Pastel frenzy

   Who doesn't adore pastels?
  How can it be spring/summer without pastels?
  Can't wait for the warm days to come so I can wear the purse with a dress.

   Pastels look great even as nail polish. 

  Beautiful things await us!
